Nuriyah Aujnarain (preferred name Ria) is a kinesiologist and a recent graduate from Western University, where she has completed her Bachelor of Science with an Honors Specialization in Kinesiology. The specialized program accepts 75 students a year and is one of the few undergraduate programs in Ontario that allows students to spend up to 64 laboratory hours with cadavers, thereby uniquely enhancing the anatomical knowledge of each student. Ria’s academic interests include anatomy and cell biology, human physiology and exercise physiology as well as sports injuries. Through out her post secondary school and university years she has spent a great deal of her free time working or volunteering with children and underprivileged individuals. She also has a distinct passion for helping individuals affected by mental and physical disabilities, such as autism and cerebral palsy. When she is not working or volunteering, she spends much of her time reading novels or at the gym. She is always looking for a challenge and takes joy in trying new things, as seen in her recent endeavor to take up snowboarding. She is very personable, outgoing, and open-minded and enjoys making friends. Ria strongly believes that exercise and healthy living is one of the most effective rehabilitative techniques available and looks forward to enforcing and promoting this belief in the clinic at Restore Physio Georgetown.

  • Georgetown - Rob

Robert is a Registered Massage Therapist and does Acupuncture as well. His values, which are extremely important to him, are exercise, human anatomy, and positive attitude. He has 20 years experience as a Registered Massage Therapist under the Regulated Health Professions Act. He is dedicated to helping people improve their health and well-being. During the last 20 years, he earned a solid reputation and many loyal clients. He has an extensive background and specializes in Sport Injuries (due to his fair share of them with competitive swimming and Marathon running), Motor Vehicle Accidents, Relaxation, Rehabilitation, and Therapeutic Massage. He utilizes such techniques such as Deep Tissue Massage and Myofascial Release. I graduated from the Canadian College of Massage Hydrotherapy in 1989. I continued my training at the Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I then went on to study with Doctor Devi Nambudripad in Los Angeles, California in Sensitivity Training. Robert is very client focused, personable, positive, energetic, self-motivated and values open communication with his clients. His focus is on Sports, Exercise and Massage in combination to help individuals achieve long lasting health and wellness. He believes in being proactive rather than reactive when it comes to everything life has to offer (eg. Yin/Yang principles). He is committed to his clients through professionalism, dependability, and high quality of service. He looks forward to meeting with you.
